Murmurwood Soaps – Influenced by Northern Wisconsin's Serenity!

In 1910, my Grandpa and Great Uncle discovered that the beautiful and majestic pines surrounding their homestead in Northern Wisconsin not only offered incredible natural beauty, but that, for those who stopped to listen, the trees “murmured” with the winds.

Murmurwood Soaps was established in 2009 in Clam Lake, Wisconsin - a small town in the Heart of Wisconsin’s Chequamegon National Forest. Murmurwood Soaps sits on the shores of Upper Clam Lake, an environment which promotes a calm peace and serenity only nature can provide. I started making my homemade soaps as a hobby in my kitchen and gave them as gifts to my friends, loved ones and guests who vacation at my nearby rental property, Murmurwood Cabin. I soon discovered all who used them loved my products and they wanted more for themselves and to “gift” to others.

As I loving expanded my product line of affordable, one-of-a-kind soaps and soy candle gifts, Murmurwood Soaps became a business. Sharing these handmade gifts - each one unique and made to order especially for you - has become a joy to my family and me.

Loonsong Soy Candles are also made on site and share the same philosophy - to provide high quality, affordable gifts for you and yours. Murmurwood Soaps gift sets, offered in three sizes, include your choice of our handcrafted natural soaps and a compatibly scented soy candle. Singe bars and bags of soap are also available.
